Location is top.

Location is top. Daily removal of seaweed. Receptionists very friendly.

Almost 400 USD per night in an old room with a very very very poor breakfast. Old bikes not included!!!! Had to carry my suitcase to the room and back on my own.

Just amazing!

This place is amazing. The location, the staff, the food and the rooms are wonderful. The beach front is fabulous, clean, attended and without too many people. The food was always fresh, although sometimes a little similar, is prepared with love and service is with a smile. The room we stayed in, which was ground floor beach facing, was simple in design yet included everything we needed including a coffee maker and fridge and was amazingly comfortable with a deck and “back yard”. We could not have asked for more.

What was the highlight of Alma Tulum Hotel Boutique

A magical experience all around!

The location was outstanding. Right on the beach and near a lot of restaurants and shops. The rooms were very charming, spacious, and were thoroughly cleaned by the staff. Speaking of the staff, they were very accommodating and even kept the restaurant open late to accommodate us one night. All in all, Hotel Alma was a magical experience and i would HIGHLY recommend to anyone interested in staying in Tulum

The restaurant could have had more breakfast options. We ran out of toilet paper more than once. We celebrated an engagement with champagne and it was very expensive - could have had more options.

Amazing hotel in a espectacular beach

Room is excellent (size, confort, decoration). The hotel is really at the beach, you hear the sound of the ocean all the time. Food is great and prices are reasonable.

Great place, the rooms were perfect , cosy , romantic.

Great place, the rooms were perfect , cosy , romantic. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel is great , 1 km away from major restaurants in the area and very easy accessible by foot.

The breakfast included in the room price is only two types so if you stay more than 5 days maybe you would wish to change. It is possible to choose a la carte but you pay it separately.

Comfortable stay, great location and awesome front desk staff.

The guys at the front desk were super helpful - they helped us coordinate dinner reservations, book a car (which was even dropped off and picked up at the hotel for us) and helped call a specific taxi # we wanted to order for an airport drop off. We really appreciated all of their help! The restaurant team was attentive and the free breakfast every morning was great - lots of food. The location of the hotel was great - we found that we could easily walk to all of our restaurants on our list.

I wish that the bikes were a bit cheaper. We stayed at another hotel in Tulum town that had bikes as well but they were free of charge and really made things convenient! One of the nights was super cold - recommend additional blankets in the rooms (we only had one and it wasn't enough).

Given the price I was expecting a lot more attention to detail. As a midrange hotel, it was fine. Nothing special, though some of the staff were fantastic, balancing out the less happy to be there ones.

Says it is eco-resort but isn’t particularly. Tulum is inundated with tourists in an area not set up for the influx. Heaps of plastic on beach etc. People are trying to manage the crap but needs a lot more work - more money from accommodation costs should be going to managing environment.

The perfect place!

We loved the beach facilities and the staff (Eduardo, Marisol y Uriel) The room was huge, the beds comfortable, the shower pressure strong and the water hot. They provide bottles of water.

Beach access, room size and bathroom size. The waiters at the restaurant were really nice.

The property is run down and needs renovation. Overpriced for what it has to offer. The attitude of management of the hotel was poor in terms of client service, and as consequence the reception staff were not very helpful.
